project udaan- swarna jayanti gram swarozgar yojona special project
At the national level, Future Learning, through its holding company, Future Corporate Resources Limited, has partnered the Ministry of Rural Development (MORD) for “Project Udaan”, a skill development initiative. This project aims to provide skill based training and employment for 32000 rural, below poverty line (BPL) beneficiaries.
It is our belief that India’s success story cannot have a happy future if it excludes large swathes of young people with limited access to education and skill development programmes. This project aims to provide skill based training and employment to 32000 rural, below poverty line (BPL) beneficiaries. Currently, Project Udaan is being rolled out across 19 states in the country, catering to the organized retail sector, which includes jobs in customer facing roles, retail housekeeping and supply chain management. On successful completion of training, candidates are certified by Future Learning. With the comprehensive training and certification, candidates are well-equipped to deliver their best at job interviews. Future Learning then tracks the selected candidates’ progress for a period of one year as directed by the Ministry of Rural Development (MORD) under the Swarjayanti Gram Swarozgar Yojana (SGSY) special project.
